Accuracy and limitations
Calzivo tools are built for practical estimates, conversions, and checks. Some tools use standard formulas or simplified assumptions, and results can be affected by input accuracy, rounding, units, local rules, or changing official requirements.
Results depend on the values you enter and any simplified assumptions used by the tool. Verify important results before making decisions or submitting official information.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Time Zone Converter and how to read the result.
Is a fixed UTC offset the same as a named time zone?
No. A fixed offset is only a signed difference from UTC. A city or regional zone can change offset because of daylight-saving or political rules.
Does this calculator apply daylight-saving time?
No. Select the fixed offset that applies to the intended date and place. Automatic daylight-saving rules require named-zone data outside this calculator.
Why does the result include a date?
Offset differences can move the converted time into an earlier or later civil date. The result preserves that rollover instead of wrapping the clock alone.
Why are time-zone abbreviations omitted?
Abbreviations can be ambiguous or seasonal. Explicit UTC offsets state the exact fixed difference used in the calculation.
Can I convert between the same offset?
Yes. The date and time remain unchanged and the date shift is shown as Same date.
What range is supported?
Both the source and converted civil dates must remain from 1000-01-01 through 9999-12-31 in the proleptic Gregorian calendar.
