How the Water Estimate Works
This calculator starts with an estimate of 35 ml of water per kilogram of body weight, then adds about 350 ml for every 30 minutes of exercise or physical work.
Example: a person weighing 82 kg with 30 minutes of daily activity gets an estimate of about 3.22 liters, or roughly 109 fl oz, per day.
